Being less than a block away from a wholesale flower shop can cause damage to my wallet, at the risk of sounding like a broken record. Last week was definitely one of those times. How else was I going to prepare for Easter ?
I realized that mini arrangements would be perfect for the leftover hanging air plant Pods when I started playing around with what I had purchased. We might as well turn these into a subtle homage to the upcoming holiday, without being in your face, since they look a little bit like Easter eggs.

There are materials.
- White Hellebores, Anemones, and Lavender are fresh flowers.
- The air plant is hanging.
- There are floral foam rounds.
- A knife is used to cut through foam.
- The wire is floral.
There are instructions.
The floral foam can be soaked in a container of water. If you place the floral foam on top of the water and let it sink to the bottom, you can do this.
Next, cut the floral foam to a size that is slightly larger than the one you need for the opening of the air Pod. I made the bottom bigger than the top, and put it in the Podo that it could easily go in, but cover the largest area at the opening.
First, push the foam into the air plant Pod.
Cut the stems of the flowers you plan to use down to 1-2 inches after removing leaves and throwing stems. Adding floral wire to each stem will make it stronger and easier to push through the foam.
Start poking stems through the foam. If necessary, add more flowers to the sides.
They are going to hang from the string that is attached to the air plant.
The styling is done by Rachel Brewer.
