Sunflower 2 – Resort Vacation Properties of St. George Island

All members of the guest ‘s party understand and agree with the guest.

A contractual agreement is made after a reservation is made. George Island, Inc. All members of the guest ‘s party are included. The rest of the party agrees to abide by the Rental Guidelines.

Guidelines for renting.

There is a maximum Occupancy.

The maximum number of people allowed on the premises, including infants, is the maximum inside and outside the home. We ca n’t accept reservations for vacationing students or house parties. We do n’t rent to students or groups under the age of 25 if one or more parents or legally responsible adults accompany them. The policy is strictly enforced. A separate contract is required for special events such as weddings, reunions, and church retreats. Special pricing and security deposits may be required. Contact our office if you have any questions.

Pets are welcome at our homes. For details on size and number of pets allowed, please see the individual property descriptions. Unless stated in the property description, there will be a $ 50 pet fee. Guests are required to clean up after their pets, and there may be additional charges for the clean up of pet waste or excessive pet hair. Pet waste ca n’t be left on the beach or dunes. Pets are not allowed in non-pet friendly homes and will result in immediate eviction. A minimum charge of $ 500 will be incurred if evidence of pets is found in a non-pet friendly home. Exotic animals are not allowed. Pets are not allowed in the hot tub. Guests are responsible for adhering to the leash law.

ADA qualified animals are the only exception. Additional information can be requested. A service animal is a dog that is trained to help someone with a disability.

There are pools and hot Tubs.

Private pools and hot tub are cleaned twice a week. The guest is responsible for the use of these amenities. There will be an additional fee for any extra cleanings that are required. The amenity of heat must be requested at least 1 week in advance of the pool opening. The cost for pool heat is $ 500 per week for stays less than a week and $ 300 for 2 nights. When the outside temperature is less than 60 in a 24 hour period, the pool will not be heated. Pool heat is not guaranteed. Do not sit or walk on the hot tub covers. Monthly reservations are not affected by an offer of free pool heat.

Refer to individual property descriptions for availability and possible restrictions. Iflevator for a fee is noted in the property description, prior arrangements must be made and a $ 100 fee must be paid in advance. Unless accompanied by an adult, elevators are not used by children or pets.

Equipment malfunction, bad weather, and refunds.

It is not possible to get a refunds for bad weather, lack of public utilities, or equipment malfunction. We will do everything we can to have the equipment repaired as soon as possible. One of the challenges of living on a barrier island is that parts have to be ordered and repair companies have to travel a longer distance.

Returned checks.

There is a charge for returned checks. Checks will not be re-deposited and must be replaced with a money order, cashier ‘s check, web check, or credit card payment.

Changes to reservations.

There will be no refunds unless the first rental payment is received.

The home can be re-rented for the same dates. A 10 % cancellation fee will be deducted from the advance rental payment. The 10 % cancellation fee and any difference in the re-booking rate will apply if it is not possible to re-rent the home for the same dates and rental rate. The entire payment will be forfeited if the home remains vacant for those dates.

There should be no expectation of refunds or relocation after arrival because of unhappiness with the home rented. We ca n’t relocate guests without specific authorization.

Travel insurance.

Travel insurance can provide coverage for various medical, travel and weather events, and we strongly recommend you purchase it. Resort Vacation Properties has a partnership with a travel insurance provider. Sun Trip Preserver Travel Insurance can be found here.

The benefits, exclusions, and limitations can be downloaded here. The guest should submit a claim to the travel insurance company.

v Damages.

Guests assume full responsibility for damages due to misuse, carelessness or missing items. The guest must report any damages or issues found within 24 hours. All damages will be the responsibility of the reserving party and their credit card will be charged and/or security deposit withheld for any violations unless damage is covered by the Property Protection Plan. The guest will be billed for any excessive cleaning. The guest agrees that charges can be processed on the guest ‘s credit card or held security deposit if they are covered by the PPP. If the security deposit is not enough to cover all of the damage, the guest will have to pay within 30 days.

Property protection plan

Below is a pricing table. Any damages, intentional or unintentional, that exceed the allotted amounts will be charged to the credit card on file. Smoking damage on the property is not covered by PPP. There is no coverage for tampering with pool equipment. Should any exist, the guest has 30 days to pay their monetary balances. As an alternative to Property Protection, guest may choose to pay a Refundable Security Deposit, authorized and collected prior to guest entering premises that will act as a safeguard to agent for any damages that may occur, whether intentional or unintentionally. The amount of the security deposit is listed. No part of the security deposit will be returned to a departing guest until all co-guests have left the premises. All or part of the security deposit may be retained by the agent upon the end of the tenancy and a full or partial refund of the deposit may be made within 30 days of the reservation departure date.

There is a maximum Occupancy 1-6 and a security deposit.

There is a maximum Occupancy 7 and a security deposit of $ 750.

The maximum Occupancy is 11-14 with a security deposit of $ 1,000.

There is a maximum Occupancy of 15 and a security deposit.

It was lost and found.

If you find items that have been left behind, please contact us as soon as possible. It can take up to two weeks for delivery. There will be a charge of $ 10 for large items. All packages are sent via the USPS in the form of a COD.

v Smoking.

Smoking is not allowed in all rental homes. There are no exceptions to this policy and a minimum charge of $ 500 will be assessed for violations.

There is accessibility for the handicapped.

For information about a home ‘s handicap accessibility, please refer to the individual property descriptions. Unless otherwise stated in the property description, homes are not fully handicap accessible.

There are homeowner associations.

Rules and regulations can be applied to homes in the St. George Plantation is in the Villas of St. George and Sunset Beach. Rules may address use of community amenities, the types of vehicles allowed, parking, bonfires, fireworks, etc. They are subject to change by the community. Guests are expected to read and understand community rules.

Construction.

We ca n’t tell guests when their home is near a construction site because we ca n’t predict the location of construction activities. There are no refunds or adjustments made because of construction activity.

There are rental homes for sale.

Rentals may be for sale. The owners have the right to allow showings to qualified buyers. We may not be able to let guests know that the home is for sale. Guests will be notified of showings at least one hour in advance. There are no refunds or adjustments made because of sales activity.

The equipment used for surveilling.

Some vacation rental properties may have security installed. Video/audio devices will only be installed in very limited locations. We will do everything we can to make sure areas under observation are clearly marked.

Guests who register with Resort Vacation Properties will not be allowed to install any such device during their stay.

RVP does n’t monitor or manage equipment.

v Substitutions.

If a reserved accommodation becomes unavailable for rental use, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable home, if available, or grant a full refund of all payments made, without further liability.
