Finding easy flower inspiration and flower drawing instructions online is not easy, but luckily for all of us, Korean illustrator Kate Kyehyun Park is sharing step by step images and how she paints her beautiful botanical drawings.

Kate was raised in South Korea and currently resides in California.

After receiving her bachelor ‘s degree in Graphic Art, Kate worked as a graphic designer in South Korea and then in the USA. She likes to draw plants from her imagination, but she finds inspiration in nature. She does n’t care about perspective or technical errors despite having studied various art techniques. Creating an impression that sparks emotion is what matters to her. This is a extract from the picture.

Drawing tools.

I know that I have said it before, but if you are just starting, use what you have on hand or get a cheap pack with a pencil, eraser, and sharpener.

If you are ready to get more materials, below are some of my favorites.

Watercolor paints are used.

If you are just starting, you should use whatever you have on hand, the idea is to get practice under your belt first, then you can up your materials to bring your work a level up!

There is a flower.

There are at least 12 species of poppy flowers in the Papaveroideae. The Papaver orientale is the most popular painted one. There are orange, red, and salmon flowers.

There are 2 plants.

The mopheads form of Bigleaf hydrangea are one of the most popular varieties of Hydrangeas. Bigleaf varieties can change their colors from regular shades of blue to bright purples.

3 – ROSE FLOWER

The Rose family has a lot of different types of flowers and bushes, as well as the appearance of the bush. Red is the most popular color of Rose, but there are so many other colors.
